Did anyone else notice the resemblance to the Odessa Stairs sequence in Iron Man 2?

Question by Chase M: Did anyone notice the resemblance to the Odessa Stairs sequence in Man 2?
In Man 2, did anybody notice, when the drones first started attacking at StarkExpo, a resemblance to the “Odessa Stairs” sequence from Battleship Potempkin? Or am I just being too much of a movie nerd?

I mean, I hardly guess Favreau would try to directly correlate the two films, but still. I couldn’t help but notice it.

    Haven’t seen it yet, but that scene is also refernced in Terry Gilliam’s Brazil, and In The Untouchables by Brian DePalma. We need more movie nerds.
