I’ll assume your credentials as a commentator are at least equal to mine and afford you the respect of a professional peer.

Even so, we are at an impasse. I understand your point and you, I assume understand mine. I doubt either of us is going to change our view.

So why don’t we agree to disagree and leave this thread where it is?

i like the idea of a new soundtrack, but honestly i was expecting better, the guys voice is irritating

I enjoy this. I think the Pet Shop Boys did a good job bringing this movie back for a younger generation with the new soundtrack. It really plays up the drama and shows just how powerful a piece of propaganda The Battleship Potemkin was.

Great comment; well-said. The film works great with the PSB music as a total. “After All” (this song) is a climax, most of the music is instrumental. I also don’t understand the fuzz about title cards. The text is pasted on images that appear in the movie *before* this scene (and the music) stars. Those images aren’t relevant for this YouTube clip at all.

well its not to my liking, the theme doesn’t sit well with the rest of the score in my opinion and thank goodness someone included the lions!
